This was one of my favorite, if not favorite, hotels in Russia. Designed and decorated in the charming Siberian style, this hotel was extremely cozy and I did not want to even leave!

The location is great as it is within walking distance of some interesting sights in the city, and it is just behind a promenade with a lot of shops, restaurants, and a view of the river.

A nice location, next to the new ‘old quarter’, not a long walk from the central street (Karl Marx) nor from the river bank (maybe 5 mins to each). Also a beautiful church across the road. Helpful and flexible - I was arriving in the morning, and needed to leave early the following morning; I was able to leave my bags at reception on arrival before checkin, allowing me to head out and explore Irkutsk, and a specially early breakfast was arranged for me to be able to eat before departing.

Absolutely lovely! The room was cozy but spacious. The breakfast was delicious. The staff were kind. The location was perfect. There are several great restaurants right behind the hotel and there is a large shopping center within a short walk. Would highly recommend.

I stayed one night at Marussia. The room was nice, comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. A special thank you to Ksenia who friendly and gave me good advice for dining. Good location for walking and exploring Irkutsk.
